Strange and Beautiful

nonameI was in St. Louis again this week.  While there, I managed to get in to see this woman.  This was my first trip to a practitioner of this variety.  She started at my feet and started talking.  Ooh, she said.  That is really entangled.  I mean really entangled.  You don’t know where one ends and the other begins.

Um. Yeah.  Sign me up in the believer category.

Then yesterday, I got lost on the way to the airport.  well, that’s not exactly true.  By accident, I told my navigational system (which, by the way, I did not forget in the rental car) to take me to the wrong airport.  No harm, no foul as I had loads of time.  But meanwhile, I saw a cluster of white herons in a little river bed, and two more flying overhead.

Getting home was miserable – we sat in the plane in Charlotte for hours waiting for clearance to take off – but overall?   Things are different.  Not radically.  Perhaps not observably.  But they are different now.  And I’m good with that.
