The NaNoWriMo Wreckage

With 50,033 words, I barely eeked out a NaNo victory with two hours to spare.  20,000 words happened in the last two days.  My goal, when starting, was to re-connect to the fun part of writing.  And to prove that I could still do this thing after being stalled out on TCR II.  I can’t say it was *fun* exactly, though the intense focus of Friday and Saturday was kind of nice.  What I did get out of it is the discovery that I am capable of writing 10,000 words in a day, which I didn’t know I could do before.

So thank you, NaNo.  I spent all my words in one place with you, but I can now step back into the real work with a methodology that works for me.  I might even get the last 40k words of TCR II in the bag before I start the new job.
